Goddess

This poem is entitled "Goddess". An impromptu poem that I made for all of the Moms out there especially to my Mom. Happy Mother's Day!

You are like a moon that shines at night

And I am the dark that influences your light.

Nor a sun that shines bright

In a world full of fights.

You're the only woman that catches my attention.

You sometimes can be weak but you are a champion.

You like a god that lives in a human world.

You fall from the sky like an impearled.

I have a lot of friends,

But you are my best girlfriend.

I never want you to be sad

Because it hurts me so bad.

You can be both a queen and a soldier,

Always ready to fight whenever I am weaker.

It is fine to let me see your weakness

Because I can take care of you like a princess.

Now that I am here, you are not alone.

I can also fight like a cyclone.

I may be your daughter,

A princess you only have but I can fight like a soldier.

Maybe our home is not as big as a castle,

But your love is like a queen that lives in a castle.

And if I have the will to choose another mother,

I will choose you over and over because your love is so tender.

Ma, I love you and no one will change that. Remember that I am here to listen to all of your rants about life and take care of you like you are the expensive diamond I ever had and treat you like you are my precious treasure. Maybe people will leave you when you needed them the most, but I assure you that I will stay by your side when you shine bright and have no light. You are my only ITALY (I Trust And Love You).
