It was difficult to narrow down my top 10 favorite TV shows of all time to just ten, but I chose these shows because I am emotionally invested in them. I immerse myself in them and feel as if I am one of the characters. These are the series that I haven't grown weary of watching. Even if it takes an eternity, I enjoy watching these.

Furthermore, it was almost as if everything was put on wait while I was watching these shows. When I have free time, all I want to do is watch episode after episode until I fall asleep or become weary of sleeping. All of these series have come to an end (sadly). Why do we have to come to a conclusion?

So, without further ado, here's a list of my favorite TV shows!

My Picks of Favorite TV Series

I'm sure I've stated many times what I'd want to see in a thriller, fantasy, romance, mystery, or suspense film or series. Most of the time, I watch that type of film or series because it immediately grabs my interest. It's because that film or series features genres that I enjoy, particularly if it features zombies. I'm a huge fan of zombies!

If you appreciate those types of films as much as I do, then my list is for you! Some of them are free to watch on YouTube, while others are from Facebook. It's because I don't have enough money to pay for Netflix on a monthly basis, therefore read my blogs so that I can get monetized. Just kidding.

In recent years, TV shows have been more popular since they allow you to be absorbed for a longer period of time, as opposed to movies, which only last an hour and are no longer adequate for most of us, including me.

Movies still provide thrills, but you usually have to wait a year or more for the next installment of a sequel, whereas series are much longer and provide something to look forward to until the following season.

My Top 10 TV Series

Let's do this from my top 10 to my most favorite one yeah?

Amaya

Amaya is a Filipino television series that depicts Filipino life before the arrival of the Spaniards. It is also the only Filipino series I've added to this list since, out of all the Filipino shows I've seen thus far, it's the only one that has captured my heart. It strikes the spectator in such a way that they become completely absorbed in each scene. I don't want it to be in my top ten since it deserves more, but there are certain series that are better for it.

Premise:

Amaya was born during Rajah Mangubat's reign, and as the daughter of Datu Bugna, she is a "binukot" - a hidden princess who is unable to walk on the ground. His father kept the fact that he was born with a twin snake a secret to keep her safe.

Legend of the Blue Sea

The Korean Drama The Legend of the Blue Sea is well-known. Personally, I am not a fan of KDramas, but I do watch some of them, and this is one of them. KDramas have a different impact than other foreign series in terms of drawing Filipinos in, and I believe this series is one of the most well-known in the Philippines. It had such an influence on viewers that even those Filipino lake me who were not fans of KDramas became attached to the series. Because I've seen other fantasy genres that are superior in terms of their genre, it makes my top 9.

Synopsis:

Shim Cheong (Jun Ji-hyun), a mermaid, and Heo Joon-Jae (Lee Min-ho), a smart con-artist, are the central characters in the series. Their journey is juxtaposed with the parallel story of their Joseon-era incarnations, the mermaid Se-Hwa and town chief Kim Dam-Leong, which focuses on reincarnation, fate, and unrequited love.

Angel's Last Mission: Love

This is on my list since I used to be a huge fan of angels. When I first heard about this series, I was ecstatic and eager to learn more about it; yet, I soon realized that I had already finished it with joy and satisfaction. Because of the plot, I've chosen it as one of my top eight. To tell you the truth, it's the reason I came up with the genre of my own novel. I became engrossed in it.

Synopsis:

Lee Yeon-seo (Shin Hye-sun) is a brilliant and accomplished ballerina who can say whatever she wants with her family's Fantasia Ballet Company, but she is blinded by a tragic accident. Her faithful secretary and butler, as well as her cunning family and everyone else, are all bitter and nasty to her. Dan (Kim Myung-soo) is a careless, optimistic demon who is constantly getting himself into trouble. He is given the seemingly impossible goal of finding genuine love for Yeon-Seo in order to return to heaven, but he ends up falling for her himself.

Goblin

I didn't watch it at first because of the trailer. This storyline didn't impress me in any way. There is no story in this story for me until I watch this clip when they do a parody of it and the characters in that parody attract my attention. They have a connection, which has piqued my interest in these series. Apart from that, a number of my friends have recommended it to me, so I'm quite interested. I tried to watch it, but it went off! Everything I uttered was devoured by me. These genres are ideal for the genres I enjoy! I was so engrossed in the plot that I couldn't put it down. I put it in my top seven because I adore the narrative of the series.

Synopsis:

During the Goryeo Dynasty, Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) is a decorated military general who is betrayed by the envious monarch he serves. When Kim Shin faces death rather than honor after a heroic battle, God transforms him into a goblin who is tasked with saving select people from a life of sorrow.

Strong Girl Bong-Soon

It's my all-time favorite KDrama, but it's also in my top six of all of these. I was really immersed in it. I wanted to be Bong-Soon because of these. She is a powerful lady, not only in her personal strength but in all aspects of her life. She's a powerful woman in her own right.

Synopsis:

Do Bong-soon is a lady born with superhuman power, which she inherited from her mother. When the CEO of a game firm, Ahn Min Hyuk, sees her strength, he recruits her as his personal bodyguard. Do Bong-soon (Park Bo-young) possessed extraordinary power from birth.

The Blacklist

#5 on my list! Just keep an eye on this one. I guarantee you'll have a good time.

Synopsis:

Akeanan is a school with a reputation for not only education and sports but also for keeping secrets. Traffic is subsequently invited to join the club by their school teacher. "Blacklist" will reveal the deep dark mysteries of Akeanan in addition to discovering what happened to Fah.

The Nightmare Teacher

#4 on my list! Nightmare Teacher is a stunning mystery/thriller series that is similar to Girl From Nowhere. These are Korean-made series.

Synopsis:

At a Korean school named Yosan High, a regular high school homeroom teacher has an accident and so a new Teacher is hired (or was he hired? he seems to exit from a spooky mirror and then the mirror disappears behind him).

The Gifted

The Gifted is a Thai series that combines mystery and fantasy and is quite lovely. It had a second season, and the first season's rating was the same as the second season's. This is a must-see. They truly deserve to be in the top three!

Synopsis:

Pawaret "Pang" Sermrittirong (Korapat Kirdpan) is a struggling, ordinary 10th-grade student in Ritdha High School. ... But everything turns haywire for Pang when he unexpectedly sees the school's Placement Exam, which gives low-class students a chance to step up in their game.

The Girl From Nowhere

The Girl from Nowhere is a story about a woman who seems to be a student who provides karma to her classmate. They have earned their karma. This karma-giving student is Satan's daughter. It is not a continuation of the previous episodes because each one is unique. It is for this reason that these programs are so popular. They also have a second season, which I must say is equally as good! I'm sure many of you are aware of this and will agree that these programs deserve to be in the top two or even number one.

Synopsis:

The story revolves around Nanno, a mysterious girl who transfers to various private schools in Thailand and exposes the students and faculty's lies, secrets, and hypocrisy. She is revealed to be an immortal being who punishes wrongdoers for their wrongdoings.

The Walking Dead

These series are the reason I ranked Girl from Nowhere as one of my top two! I adore zombies, and no other series or film can replace them, so please accept my apologies. TWD aired for 11 seasons, all of which were fantastic! Season 1's thrills and scares are still with us.

Summary:

It follows a group of survivors who journey in quest of a safe and secure home, led by former police officer Rick Grimes. As the survivors deal with the effects of a world overtaken by the dead, their interpersonal issues pose a larger threat to their continued survival than the walkers roaming the land.
